Sunt aici pentru studii

Recently, I reacquainted myself with the "numa numa" video which is actually called Dragostea Din Tei. It inspired me to start learning Romanian, which I have been studying for a few days now. I've made a serious dent in the language.

I've also been brushing up on some chemistry... Playing around with my prescription drugs to see if I can "refine" my product. Discovered a method that could improve my yield, but would require chloroform. If anyone has some lying around, I'd appreciate a delivery.

I also came across this ANNOYING "IQ test". I don't see how it tests anything but patience, really. In fact, the only reason why I'd recommend it is that when you mess up, you get to watch the parents knock the kids out. If you want to give it a try, click on the blue circle to begin. Here are directions: You need to get everyone on the other side of the river by using the raft. Click on the person to move them, and click on the poles to move the raft. RULES: Two people can fit on the raft at all times, only adults can operate the raft, dad cannot be left with the girls unless mom is present, mom cannot be left with the boys unless dad is present, and the prisoner cannot be with anyone unless the officer is with her.

Also, I watched a very amusing Armenian film called Big Story in a Small City. I definitely recommend this to everyone--the DVD has English subtitles. I must say, Armenian cinema has come a long way since Sarky Mouradian's days (not to mention Manuel's "acting").

Finally, I acquired the Alias complete series DVDs from a friendly visitor. I am averaging about 6.5 episodes a day, not because I have nothing else to do, but because I have no tolerance for cliffhangers. I think this is the way television should be watched. Skip through credits, no commercials, and I never have to wait a week to see how Sydney escapes out of an underground chamber that's slowly filling with gasoline.

So, friends, until next time, la revedere!
